The installation Erotogod was something as blasphemous and ambitious as an attempt to examine the relationship between sex and the three Abrahamic religions Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The material of the installation was religious texts and an audio recording from a sexual intercourse. In the installation’s media altar the audience would kneel down dressed in a body suit, which communicated directly with the user's body. Through this tactile experience we wanted to write new creation myths applying a new form of text - synesthetic text.
Erotogod was shown at the Henie Onstad Art Centre in 2001, and DEAF (Dutch Electronic Arts Festival) and Atelier Nord in 2003.
